What is Drug Court?
The Barrow and Jackson County Felony Drug Courts are a voluntary program that helps people facing felony charges overcome substance use, rebuild their lives, and avoid future involvement with the justice system.
What is Wellness Court?
The Piedmont Circuit Wellness Courts is a voluntary program that helps people facing felony charges overcome substance use and/or mental health challenges, rebuild their lives, and avoid future involvement with the justice system.
What is Veterans Court?
The Piedmont Circuit Veterans Court, based in Jackson County, is a voluntary program that helps veterans facing felony charges overcome substance use and/or mental health challenges, rebuild their lives, and avoid future involvement with the justice system.
What is Family Treatment Court?
The Family Treatment Court, based in Barrow County, helps families involved with DFCS cases based on substance use and/or mental health needs. It increases accountability of parents and guardians in so that they regain and maintain custody of their children and dependent family members.
